 Decaffeinated English Breakfast

A classic ‘Ceylon’ character, of a pleasant mild astringency, bursting with a sweet floral bouquet and a vibrant copper cup. This is a wonderful tea the blend is based on FP leaf from Sri Lanka’s Dimbula region, it is harvested high up in the mountains above Colombo and is all natural free of any pesticide use.

Dimbula/Sri Lanka

Here at TeaCakes of Yorkshire, we insist the process of removing caffeine is done chemical free. Our teas are briefly soaked in exceptionally pure water and gently flushed with CO2, the CO2 binds to the caffeine molecules and remove them from the tea leaving behind all the natural proteins that give tea its flavour. It also leaves many of the polyphenols and antioxidants intact so it’s still great for you.

Our renowned grower has perfected and produced unrivalled quality for decades, having a medium body, balanced astringency and long finish we guarantee nobody will be able to tell this is decaffeinated

Great decaf tea

My husband and I have found we are calmer and happier without caffeine. This tea is the best tasting I have found. I believe it uses the water method to remove caffeine as well.

Who would know it’s decaf

A full of flavour tea. You would not know that it’s decaf. It’s my go to tea in the afternoon. As always teacakes delivery was fast.

Decaffinated English Breakfast

This si a delicious English Breakfast tea. Just the right strength and, as I was reluctant to start drinking decaf, it is a welcome relief that I can have a great cup of tea and not miss the caffine!
