"Full and rich as any tea from Yorkshire should be."
We are so excited and pleased to bring you our own commissioned blend of four of the best leaves on the planet. We have tested hundreds of samples and variations before finally settling on this perfectly balanced tea. In partnership with one of our oldest established blenders and through many months of tea tastings we believe we have created the perfect cup of tea from Yorkshire.
We have selected a top quality leaf from Kenya's Rift Valley, in this tinderbox, the soils are rich in nutrients and minerals deposited from fires over the centuries, bringing a full malty note which gives a great dimension.
Nandi Highlands/Nilgiri & Assam/Yunnan Province
Teas from India typically grow in lush fertile conditions and have fruity refreshing characteristics, our two choices from legendary regions Nilgiri and Assam are no exception sharpening and adding an enhancing element to the malty notes.
Finally, just for good measure a premium leaf from the birthplace of tea, In Yunnan Province tea still grows wild in the rich red fertile soil, even when tamed, the bushes produce sturdy buds, and thick, well-sized leaves which add a good fulfilling body to our blend.
To say we like tea in Yorkshire would be somewhat of an understatement it's more of a religion! visitors especially from overseas are somewhat staggered and amused in equal measures with how much tea is drunk by us Yorkshire folk.
We believe this blend has a richness of flavour that is unmatched by any other. Best with the smallest splash of milk gives a bright golden cup colour, a truly satisfying one-of-a-kind traditional Yorkshire blend, just give it a go we're sure you will love it as much as we do
